To actually buy a car, members will need to visit their local dealer with a proof of 41 Club membership in the form of a headed note from the Club or Area, together with a current utility bill detailing your name and home address.
The family member does not however need to reside at the same address as the eligible member but where the purchaser has a different surname to the eligible person then a signed statement from the eligible person confirming the relationship must also be obtained and submitted with the dealer claim.
Most importantly, you must tell the dealer that the intended purchase is under the terms of the Affinity programme, and that you are entitled under the 41 Club scheme, Affinity code A01.
This must be done at the outset, and the dealer will give the full discount off his invoice to you.
It is not possible to claim the discount after the event in any circumstances.
