Shivering on the hottest day of the year 02-07-2015 Club news: Petersfield

It's amazing how cold it can be on Hayling Island, when its over 30C in the rest of the country.  Despite the wind we had a great meal of fish and chips washed down with plenty of (mostly donated) beer.

This was the night when Andy Done was to be inducted, so it was a very pleasant surprise when Jon Burdekin appeared like some latter day Robinson Crusoe, and also volunteered to join our increasingly merry band.  They were duly welcomed aboard with all the usual pomp and ceremony.

Chairman Steve brought his gavel, and ran a full meeting agenda, to the bemusement of the seagulls, the few  hardy locals and us.
