41 Club GB&I presents €5300 for the Onna Project after the earthquake

The actual total was raised was €6000.

This is a magnificent achievement - a really big thank you to all the individuals and Clubs who contributed.

Every penny will be used wisely by our Italian friends. Club 41 Italia was the first organisation on the scene and also the first to ask the locals what help they wanted. The Onna project was the result; all work will be supervised by Italian 41ers.

Their target is €1000000; Club 41 France gave €11000 so our two Associations have got them over one-sixth of the way to their goal.

We therefore propose to close the Earthquake appeal, in order to concentrate any further fund-raising where possible in favour of President Richard's nominated charity 'Help for Heroes' www.helpforheroes.org.uk Once again, thank you all so very much. This all demonstrates very clearly that 41 Club is much more than a dining club, both at home and abroad.
