You may be surprised to learn that 41 Club has never existed in Hong Kong and that the Club for age-barred Round Tablers is known as Square Table. How this came about I know not – but then Hong Kong has always had an independent streak!

Like myself many Square Tablers have now returned to the UK and a number are happily ensconced in their local 41 Clubs. A get-together has been suggested with perhaps a recruitment drive of those who for whatever reasons did not join 41 Club.

If anyone is interested could they please contact me at heath@knollcrest.co.uk or telephone 01694 722216.

Dear Uwe

I do not know of an ex-Tablers Club in Ville Marie but often ex-Tablers are also members of Rotary, in GB&I certainly. The local "Club Rotary of Montreal Ville-Marie", the French-speaking club of the Québécois metropolis, can be contacted through their President 2004-2005: Larbi Ouazzani,
telephone: (514) 331-5838
or
Webmaster: Pierre Lagier : (514) 489-6491/(514) 594-5037/(450) 258 -0491.

I know nothing more and hope this may help in some way.
