Millennium Way - Coughton Short Circular Walk
This easy 7 mile circular walk combines the delights of both town and country walking in the historic Roman town of Alcester, together with some lovely riverside paths, country lanes and gentle farmland. It is mostly flat and very dog friendly. There is also the chance to visit Coughton Court, an interesting and attractive National Trust property.
The latterpart of the walk, from St Giles Priory follows the Millennium Way. Follow the distinctive yellow markers through the medieval village of Spernall with it's delightful church dedicated to St Leonard. Then walk through the fields and over the River Arrow towards Coughton Court and back to your departure point at The Throckmorton Arms
